A special thank you to Donna, Jody and Barbara (Jody and Barbara shown above) who are helping to feed and provide that loving individual puppy loving for all of the babies. These folks are going to be taking home Piper AND Mallory (Jody and Barbara) and Daisy (Donna) and are providing that extra loving and socialization for the whole litter while they visit their babies. Shown above is Cooper (left) and Piper (right).

The First meal is served...and the crew did quite well although a little young to start eating yet!!
And Piper "pipes out" while she falls asleep on Barbara's shoulder...yup, we are spoiling them already!!

Day 12:
Well, today is day 12....and the babies are all just mostly eating and sleeping!! And eating they have done...we had to do some supplemental bottle feeding with Sandy Bay but she has caught up quite nicely and that is not necessary anymore!! Everyone is healthy and fat as they should be!. All the tails were docked at two days old and the dewclaws removed....and everyone had some. Hope you enjoy the pictures taken this evening. Their little eyes should open in another two days and they will start exploring their surroundings....Our first real photo shoot.....gorgeous! If this just doesn't make ya want to snuggle...nothing will.
 
 
Day 14: Their little eyes are opening today....and Daisy Mae (Sandy Bay) was the first to have both eyes wide open...she started as the littlest one and now is showing signs that she will be the first one to do each task!! All is well, all puppies are strong and healthy, chubby babies and the first meager "barks" have been known to come out of the whelping pen. Puppy breathe is wonderful!!
